"Irkol" Ore Field  was opened in 1971.  

In the period from 1975 to 1985 GG carried out detailed exploration drilling (wells 1910 the total volume of 911.4 thousand m.). In 1985 GKZ USSR approved the geological reserves of uranium in the mines of the total volume of 29 541 tons, including the categories B + C1 - 16 788 tons.

The average uranium content in ores of 0.042%.

Contract No 1801 (14.07.2005)

The mine was put into operation by the State Commission Act on August 21, 2008.

The design capacity of the mine - 700 tons per year.

The mine was  brought to design capacity in 2010.
